This Henley kitchen design is anything but your standard white gloss kitchen. The brief was to transform a small dark, enclosed kitchen with minimal storage, into a bright and large entertaining space.

This called for the removal of a wall so a central beam was needed, which was turned into a central feature in stainless steel, along with the left of the island and stools. The rest of the kitchen was kept sleek with seamless Corian benchtops and splashback, integrated appliances and loads of handle-free storage.

The owners love the 4.2m long island with under-bench lighting and seating for eight, which has become the hub of the home, making cooking and entertaining a pleasure.
